Mission success starts with preparation. Review the rules carefully before taking the field so everyone operates on the same standard. Gameplay will be competitive and fast-paced, but safety and respect always come first. Maintain good sportsmanship, follow instructions from staff, and play with honor. Lock in, gear up, and get ready for an action-packed day.

OUTDOOR RULES

1REQUIRED ITEMS FOR PLAY
These items are required to play at 878 Airsoft. They do not have to be purchased from 878 Airsoft but must meet the minimum requirements set by management.

2LOST & FOUND POLICY
Items left in lost and found more than one (1) month becomes the property of 878 Airsoft.
3REPAIR POLICY
Repaired items MUST be picked up within 90 days of completion of the repair work. After the 90 days, a $10.00 “storage” fee per item will be assessed per week starting on the Friday following the 90 days until the item(s) are picked up. After 180 days the item(s) becomes the property of 878 Airsoft.
4RETURN POLICY
Items, with the exception of batteries (See: Battery Return Policy), can be returned at the discretion of the Field Owner and/or the Store Manager and must be returned with the ORIGINAL packaging and be in LIKE NEW condition. ALL returns will incur a 20% restocking fee. STORE CREDIT ONLY – No cash or credit refunds.
5THEFT POLICY
Individuals caught stealing at 878 Airsoft will be PERMANENTLY banned from 878 Airsoft. Authorities will be called, and charges will be pressed to the fullest extent of the law. Individuals will also be banned from any future event hosted by 878 Airsoft outside of the 878 Airsoft field. 878 Airsoft will also notify all local Airsoft and Paintball fields of the incident.
6BATTERY RETURN POLICY
Batteries are strictly NO refunds or exchanges due to the nature of battery cells and possible safety concerns.
7REAL FIREARM POLICY
Only law enforcement and current CHL/LTC holders are permitted to bring real firearms on the property of 878 Airsoft. Unless authorized by the Field Owner, all real firearms MUST be kept in your vehicle at all times. Violation of the Real Firearm Policy will result in being PERMANENTLY banned from 878 Airsoft, including ALL events at 878 Airsoft.
8FIELD DISCOUNTS
Military Discount – 10% discount on admissions only. (with valid Military ID). Law Enforcement Discount – 10% discount on admissions only. (with valid LEO ID). First Responder Discount – 10% discount on admissions only. (with valid work ID)
9DRONE USAGE
In order to fly a drone at 878 Airsoft, you must meet the following minimum requirements: Must have applicable license with FAA Insurance Must have drone registered with the FAA Flight Plan Demonstrate proficiency to 878 Airsoft management Drone must be operated in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations including, but not limited to: Texas Government Code, Chapter 423 – Use of Unmanned Aircraft Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations
10WAIVER REQUIREMENTS
All players MUST have a waiver on file with 878 Airsoft. Players 17 years old or younger (=< 17 years old) MUST have a waiver completed by a parent or guardian. Every player 18 & up MUST complete their own waiver. NOTE: Players 17 years old or younger (< 17 years old) are NOT permitted to complete a waiver for themselves or others. If you have a waiver on file, when you turn 18 years old, you are required to fill out a new waiver.
11GEAR REQUIREMENTS
All players MUST use minimum ANSI Z87.1 rated, FULL SEAL eye protection. (See: Eye Protection (Eye Pro) & Face Protection (Face Pro) Requirements – below). NO mesh goggles permitted. Lower mesh face guards are recommended for all players 18 & up. Lower mesh face guards are required for all players 17 & under. Players under the age of 18 are REQUIRED to have full face protection. Shemaghs and/or scarves do NOT count as lower face protection. Although boots are not required, they are recommended. Closed toe shoes are REQUIRED. (NO CROCKS, SLIPPERS, SANDALS, HIGH HEELS, or BARE FEET). At all times ALL players MUST always carry at least one (1) bottle of water on them. (This can be in the form of a hydration pack, canteen, or bottled water.) NO red shirts or hats are permitted. (This color is reserved for the field Admins.) Blue & yellow arm bands are used to indicate which team a player is currently on. (Armbands do NOT have to be purchased from 878 Airsoft.) Arm bands must meet management’s approval. Tape is NOT to be used to indicate team. Barrel socks ARE REQUIRED to be used over the end of a weapons barrel when not on the playing field or in Chrono. Players must carry a red rag (Dead Rag) to signify that they have been hit. NOTE: For night games, players must carry a red light to signify that they have been hit.
12AGE REQUIREMENTS
Ages 10 – 14: Must always have a parent onsite. Parent and child MUST have a waiver on file with 878 Airsoft. (Parent is NOT required to play; 878 Airsoft strongly encourages parents to play with their child. (If parent plays with child, the parent will receive 50% off their entry and rental.) Ages 15 – 17: Must have a waiver on file with 878 Airsoft with correct emergency contact information in case of an emergency. Ages 18 & Up: Player MUST have a waiver on file with 878 Airsoft. Parent or legal guardian MUST sign the waiver.
13EYE PROTECTION & FACE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS

14SAFE ZONES
The “Safe Zone” at 878 Airsoft are the areas around the Pro Shop including the parking lot, camping areas, and staging areas. If you are not ON a playing field, consider it a Safe Zone. Magazines are NOT permitted in weapons in any safe zone except for pistols which MUST remain holstered. Players firing a weapon in the safe zone with a magazine in the weapon will be asked to leave 878 Airsoft property without receiving a refund. Shooting at vehicles, buildings, structures, people, or animals in a Safe Zone will result in being BANNED from 878 Airsoft. NOTE: SHOOTING AT ANY ANIMALS WILL RESULT IN A PERMANENT BAN FROM 878 AIRSOFT SHOOTING VEHICLES, BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES OR PEOPLE TO INTENTIONALLY DEFACE, DESTROY OR CAUSE BODILY HARM WILL RESULT IN A PERMANENT BAN FROM 878 AIRSOFT AND WILL RESULT IN POSSIBLE CRIMINAL CHARGES.
15FIELD CONDUCT
!!! ALL WEAPONS WILL UNDERGO A CHRONO CHECK EVERYTIME BEFORE PLAYING AT 878 AIRSOFT !!! !!! IF A WEAPON IS WORKED ON OR MODIFIED IT MUST BE RECHECKED AT CHRONO !!! Chronographs measure the velocity of the BB as it exits the muzzle of an airsoft weapon to ensure it is operating within safety limits. (Different Airsoft fields and events will have different Feet Per Second (FPS / Joules for each weapon system classification.) Players are REQUIRED to always keep their eye protection (Eye Pro) on while on a playing field and in the Chrono station. Airsoft is a game of honor. Please call your hits and be honorable. NO ONE LIKES A CHEATER!! Any player struck by a BB, within 20 feet of a detonated grenade is considered DEAD and must present a Dead Rag to signify they have been hit. Any player melee killed by a training knife is considered DEAD, the DEAD player must remain SILENT and must present a Dead Rag to signify they have been killed. DEAD players walking back to respawn MUST remain Silent and may NOT TALK. DEAD men tell no tales. Weapon hits do not count. If your gun is shot you can keep playing, if your helmet is shot you are DEAD ! A player with a real-world injury or loss of eye protection REQUIRES other players to call BLIND MAN. If you hear BLIND MAN repeat BLIND MAN, BLIND MAN, BLIND MAN so it will echo across the playing field to keep player in destress safe. All players MUST enable their weapons to safeties, drop their magazines and take a knee. DO NOT CLEAR YOUR WEAPON DURING A BLIND MAN. Any BLIND MAN call heard should be echoed 3 times and point the direction of call so that an admin can be alerted to the location. Full auto is NOT allowed inside ANY building. If you are in a building and shooting out of the structure the barrel of your weapon MUST be outside of the structure to use Full Auto. ONLY Semi Auto is allowed inside of a building when playing with a rifle. Rifle engagement distances are still in effect inside structures big enough to support them. NO bang bang, surrender or parlay rules. Blind fire is NOT allowed. Players must always look down the barrel of the weapon and MUST have eyes on an opponent to fire at them. Threatening another player in any fashion will get you ejected from the game. Repeat offenders will be temporarily to PERMENTLY BANNED from 878 Airsoft. Circumventing the FPS rules and running a “HOT” weapon will get you ejected from the game. All Weapons in the Safe Zones MUST have the magazine removed and the weapon cleared to be permitted in the Safe Zones. NO alcohol allowed in the parking lot/staging area. If you have any issues or concerns, please address them with field management as promptly as possible. NOTE: This is a GAME, call your hits, have fun and be honorable
16AMMUNITION / BB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum BB size: 6mm 0.20g — ( NO 0.12g BBs permitted! ) BBs must be biodegradable. NO metal, glass or foreign ammunition is allowed. Players may reload in the field. Maximum Weapon BB Weights: Weapon System Maximum BB Weight Pistol, Shotgun, SMG 0.32g Rifle 0.36g Designated Marksman (DMR) 0.40g Support Weapon 0.40g Sniper Rifle 0.48g
17MAGAZINES
Low, mid and high cap magazines allowed. NO box magazines or drum magazines allowed on rifles. Support weapons can use all types of magazines.
18FPS LIMITS & CHRONO REGULATIONS
See CHRONO rules.
19MELEE WEAPONS
Melee weapons must look the part and be rubber or plastic with NO edge. NO kitchen utensils. NO stabbing allowed Players must TAP enemies to count. DO NOT Stab. A player that is melee killed MAY NOT call their demise and are REQUIRED to stay silent. A player that is killed by melee CANNOT be revived by a medic; the player must go back to respawn after bleeding out.
